The power of democracy at schools

Thanks to my students, for their great work developed throughout the course. Even though it is a different school year, I thank you for your wonderful constant work both at school and at home. Congratulations on your Certificates!

In our School we have celebrated the International Book Day. A lot of members of the community had our picture taken with our favourite book or reading we are doing right now. With these photos our Team Manager has produced a video and we hope you like it. Click here to see our video

Today my students have received a surprise in their mails that we are sure will please them. It is their eTwinning certificates for having participated in the Project "The Power of Democracy at Schools". It has been a year of intense learning and this is one way to congratulate them. They have learned a lot about democratic values and their friendship with their colleagues in Bulgaria, Italy and Turkey will last forever. Paula Manzano González

CEIP "Santa María Coronada", Villafranca de los Barros, España International Book Day is a commemoration celebrated every April 23 worldwide with the aim of promoting reading. It is an international celebration promoted by UNESCO. It is a symbolic day for world literature, since that day, in 1616, Cervantes and Shakespeare died.

Today, April 20, the teachers who are carrying out this eTwinning Project, which deals with Democracy in School, have held a videoconference, with a very relaxed atmosphere. In it, we have been evaluating the work carried out so far, and we have reached the following conclusions: a) Juan Antonio will share this presentation in TwinSpace and in Messenger group. b) A questionnaire in Google Form will be designed for teachers and students to evaluate the Project. c) An online class will be given to our students. They will be organized in small international mixed groups. In that class will work contents of the Project in a funny way obtaining a common final product. Web tools such as Google Drive and Pages in TwinSpace wull help us to coordinate and organize this activity.
