Values Democracy Through Photos

Freedom, equality and justice have been the three great contents through which we have worked on democratic values.

The activity has been designed in a Padlet where our students of 6º B have published photos that represent the three great thematic axes reflecting the reason of their election. We have taken care that the images were free of copyright and in some cases the students using their creativity have designed their own images with the use of Web 2.0 applications.

What is Freedom to them?

Image designed by Lucas Farraces Montero

  • Free movement in public spaces. For them the situation we are living in of confinement deprives to a great extent their freedom.
  • Animals should enjoy freedom. Human beings trade with the freedom of animals.
  • Freedom is the most precious asset of human beings.
  • Freedom is synonymous with respect: Your freedom ends where mine begins.
  • Freedom is happiness.
  • Freedom means making our own decisions.
  • All human beings should enjoy freedom.
  • After we get through this time of confinement we will value things that previously went unnoticed.

What is Equality for them?

Image selected by Claudia Mancera Serrano

  • Everyone regardless of gender, race, culture or religion is equal.
  • Different and equal in rights and duties.
What is justice for them?

Image selected by Elena Gómez Abadía

  • Justice is the balance of society.
  • Justice does not distinguish between rich, poor, men, women, old, small, etc. We are all equal.
  • Thanks to justice we have peace and conflicts are avoided.
We invite you to see our board where you will find all the images we have selected for the activity.
